General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope:

Find My Swiss Schools GmbH (“FSS”) provides independent consulting services for private and corporate clients as well as school authorities (“clients”). These General terms and Conditions apply to all clients and third parties in relation to the below outlined services. 

2. Services:

FSS offers expertise to clients on the Swiss school system in general and in particular on the Swiss cantonal school systems as well as on private and international school options. FSS also provides support and guidance through education transition either local or international. FSS delivers bespoke advice for private clients on their children’s specific needs. FSS disposes of a comprehensive network with providers and specialist in the field of education and school psychological services either public or private.

2.1. Corporate clients

Corporates as well as relocation services shall be advised by means of presentations on the Swiss school system or any related topics. The audience of these presentations are either the corporates’ employees or their clients or any third parties involved. 

2.2. Private clients

FSS advises private clients (families, parents, children, young adults) on their school needs. The range of services encompasses an analysis of the client’s situations, needs and goals followed by individual proposals on how to best meet the needs and goals. 

3. Means of contact

The client shall contact FSS by electronic means of email, website, messenger services, etc, in writing or verbally by mobile phone, etc. 

4. Entering into consulting agreement with FFS (conclusion of contract)

FSS shall enter into a contractual agreement with clients either in writing or verbally according to the Swiss Codes of Obligations. 

5. Independent advice

FSS is an independent provider, not receiving any form of compensation or commission for recommending a school or placing a student.

6. Renumeration

Renumeration for the above outlined services shall be paid according to the published pricing list or be individually agreed with corporate and private clients. 

7. Information of the client

FSS assumes that all information provided by the client is complete and accurate. 

8. Value-added tax (“VAT”)

Services provided by FSS are subject to VAT according to the Swiss value-added tax legislation.

9. Data protection, data security and confidentiality

Data entrusted to FSS are treated according to principles of the Swiss data protection legislation. In case of transferring data abroad or to third parties to provide services as outlined above, the client agrees to such transfer. The client authorizes FSS to process data by electronic means. The client expressively accepts FSS’ privacy policy published on the FSS website https://findmyswissschool.ch/privacy-policy.

10. Liability

FSS shall provide its services with due diligence. FSS shall not be liable for any decision taken by the client based on advice, proposed options and presentations provided to the client. FSS and its executive bodies and employees are only held liable for proven and directly caused damage if such damage was caused intentionally or by grossly negligent actions. 

11. Applicable law and place of justice

All contractual agreements concluded between FSS and the clients shall be governed by Swiss law and the place of jurisdiction is the domicile of FSS at the time of the claim is filed.
